Dr Elissa Heineke graduated from Monash University in 2010 and went into specialty General Practice training in 2013.

Elissa has a number of years’ experience working in skin cancer medicine as part of General Practice, holding an advanced certificate of dermoscopy. She performs minor surgical procedures in rooms and is a surgical assistant, keeping surgical skills up to date.

It was through her work with skin checks and skin cancer, that Elissa started to develop an interest in the aging process of the skin, particularly the impact the Australian environment has on aging and skin quality. Through referring patients to specialist skin clinics, she saw the positive impact that treating age related skin changes had and decided to undertake further training in this area.

Elissa has undertaken cosmetic injectable training with internationally renowned and published cosmetic injectable specialists. Her aim in practice is to minimise the effects of the aging process, while maintaining natural features and a more youthful appearance. She understands that every face is different, and tailor’s treatment to each individual. Elissa encourages good skin care to compliment cosmetic treatment and works alongside a highly experienced team of dermal clinicians and cosmetic nurses to help achieve the best results possible.
